Often, people take care of their bodies, face and hair more so than they do for their feet. But the feet are a very important aspect of our bodies, and one that we should pay more attention to.

Everyday foot care is very important to prevent infection and other foot ailments.

1.
Wear well-fitting shoes. They should be supportive, have low heels (less than 5 cm high) and should not rub or pinch.
2.
Shop at a reputable store with knowledgeable staff who can professionally fit your shoes. And the time is better in the late afternoon (since your feet swell slightly by then).
3. For dry feet, moisturizer can easily be a remedy and can be applied as often as necessary to the affected areas
4.
Wearing clean socks with closed shoes is important to ensure that sweat and bacteria do not accumulate within the shoe.
5.
Elevate your feet when you are sitting.
6.
Wiggle your toes and move your ankles around for a few minutes several times a day to improve blood flow in your feet and legs.
7.
Inspect your feet daily and in particular, feel for skin temperature differences between your feet.
